Randal was born in Forrest City, AR and grew up in the nearby town of Palestine. He spent his formative years in a family farming community known as Jumper’s Corner. He was fortunate to be part of his family’s business Busby Trucking Company and fondly remembers being raised by a “village of relatives”, having several grandparents in his life including his Great, Great Grandmother Lillie Bell Jumper, who lived in three different centuries with a long and healthy life of 104. He firmly attributes his character and wisdom as among the many traits that were instilled by his family.
Randal earned a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Sociology from the University of Central Arkansas. Upon graduating from UCA, he attended the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville where he graduated in 2005. His lifelong passion for social justice and fighting for what is right led him to law school. During his second year of law school, he joined Walmart, Inc., at their headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas, as a law clerk in the Real Estate division. Following graduation, he entered management for almost 15 years of real estate work including commercial property and real estate management, compliance, contracts, real estate transactions and more.
Randal has joined Caddell Reynolds to pursue a lifelong dream of a career in bankruptcy, bankruptcy litigation, consumer advocacy, debtor’s rights, fair debt collection and fair credit reporting issues following in the footsteps of his new colleagues. Randal believes that all people deserve the opportunity at a fresh start. Bankruptcy is not the end but a new beginning to a healthy life and future for those oppressed by debt. He has deep compassion for clients who have been through difficult turns in life and wants to be part of the solution for their comfort and relief. He will also continue to grow in the practice of real estate, contract and business law from his foundation to further meet our clients’ needs.
Randal has his man’s best friend – a Shiba Inu named Roman. In his spare time, Randal is a singer and musician as a lifelong pianist among other instruments. He also enjoys spending time with his friends and family, reading, genealogy, running, hiking and being alone with nature.
