Our lawyer, Bill Horton, is representing former University of Arkansas Fayetteville football star Rawleigh Williams after he filed a lawsuit alleging breach of contract against Insurance company Lloyd’s of London.
Rawleigh Williams is suing Lloyd’s of London for breach of contract, claiming they have not paid on a $1 million disability insurance policy.
“The reason you file these lawsuits is, for one, you paid for a product that was not given to you, which is simply unfair,” Bill Horton said.
Williams is seeking $1 million dollars for payment of his policy along with more than $3 million dollars in court costs, statutory damages and punitive damages.
Williams retired from football in May 2017, after suffering a second neck injury during the Razorbacks’ Red-White spring practice in April.
He was diagnosed with a herniated disk between the C3 and C4 bones in his upper neck after his first injury and after his second injury, Williams was diagnosed with a disk herniation between the C2 and C3 level with a narrowing of the spinal canal.
Doctors stated that the second injury was not related to the first.
